I set this diaplay up early this morning before the kids got up for Mass. We had a beautiful image of St. Therese with chocolate rose buds and our little wooden St. Therese doll displayed in the kitchen all day. The chocolate didn't last vey long :)
For dessert we had French crepes filled with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. Unfortunately, I forgot the whipped cream, but it was still very good.
After dinner, we had these delicious round loaves of French bread with lots of butter. I think I like this recipe better than the one I used last week. We sure do love to celebrate our faith with food. St. Therese of the Little Flower, ora pro nobis!
O little Thérèse of the Child Jesus, please pick for me a rose from the Heavenly gardens and send it to me as a message of love.
O little Flower of Jesus, ask God today to grant the favors I now place with confidence in thy hands.
(Mention your intentions here)
St. Thérèse, help me to always believe as thou didst, in God's great love for me, so that I might imitate thy "Little Way" each day. Amen.
(Pray the “Glory be to the Father…” 24 times in honor of all the blessings and favors given to St. Therese during the 24 years of her earthly life). Amen.
