Merry Christmas!!!
My dear husband sitting between his mom and our new son-in-law. We gave him gloves, a bird feeder and season 2 of The Andy Griffith show. :)
I finally got another rice cooker after I accidentally left ours on the burner while it was still on. lol
Adrianna got a new set of mugs for her new apartment. This was supposed to be a wedding gift, which she picked out, then a house warming gift, but I forgot all about them so we gave it to her as a Christmas gift.
Marygrace decided to wrap up all her halloween candy and give it to herself on Christmas morning. Such self control! :)
Teenage girls love clothes. That's pretty much what Cecilia got this year, plus a few art supplies.
Joseph LOVES to juggle. He's gotten so good at it that we decided to invest in a really nice set of jugggling clubs.
Kolbe is our very avid reader. He absolutely loves Christopher Paolini and has been waiting for months to get these books. He finally got the Eragon / Eldest / Brisingr collection and the latest book Inheritance.
Angela is our little crafty girl. She loves making friendship bracelets and this was just what she wanted.
Maria really likes Shirley Temple and I was able to find all 6 volumes on clearance, so we bought them for the whole family. My baby girl is getting so big!

St. Andrew Christmas novena bracelet
The 15 beads on this St. Andrew Christmas novena bracelet are 6mm riverstone beads. The St. Andrew medal is oxidized metal. Strung on stainless steel flexible wire with stainless steel crimps. The bracelet measures 7 1/2 long and can be made smaller upon request by leaving out the 2mm silver beads. I will also include a beautiful purple drawstring pouch. St. Andrew is one of the patron saints of want-to-be mothers ;-)

- O Little Thérèse of the Child Jesus, please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens and send it to me as a message of love. O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God today to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands ….. (Mention specific requests) St. Thérèse, help me to always believe as you did, in God’s great love for me, so that I might imitate your “Little Way” each day. Amen
Novena to Saint Joseph
- Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. Spiritual Communion
- O Jesus I turn toward the holy tabernacle where You live hidden for love of me. I love You, O my God. I cannot receive You in Holy Communion. Come nevertheless and visit me with Your grace. Come spiritually into my heart. Purify it. Sanctify it. Render it like unto Your own. Amen.
Prayer for another child
- Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

- O merciful Infant Jesus! I know of Thy miraculous deeds for the sick...in view of the innumerable graces and the cures granted...through the veneration of Thy Holy Infancy, particularly in the statue of Prague...I exclaim with the greatest assurance: O most loving...Infant Jesus, Thou canst cure ___ if Thou wilt! Prayer for the beatification of Frank Duff
- God our Father, You inspired your servant Frank Duff with a profound insight into the mystery of Your Church, the Body of Christ, and of the place of Mary the Mother of Jesus in this mystery. In his immense desire to share this insight with others and in filial dependence on Mary he formed her Legion to be a sign of her maternal love for the world and a means of enlisting all her children in the Church's evangelising work. We thank you Father for the graces conferred on him and for the benefits accruing to the Church from his courageous and shining faith. With confidence we beg You that through his intercession you grant the petition we lay before You . ...............
