  • My name is Ruth. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and moved to America with my family when I was eleven.
  • I am a Traditional Catholic homeschooling mother of seven precious miracles, ages 23-5 and praying for more. ;-) Will you pray for us?
  • Our oldest child and her husband just had their first baby and we are absolutely in love with him!
  • We live on a 1/2 acre mini farm, we have 18 hens and 2 bee hives.
  • We also have 8 fruit trees, an herb garden and a small organic fruit and vegetable garden in the back yard.

Stairs baskets :)

Last week I saw this great idea on Pinterest, so today I took advantage of Hobby Lobby's 50% off basket sale and bought a basket for each of our kids. The purpose for this is to place a basket on the stairs and put things in it throughout the day that need to go back upstairs. At the end of the day when they’re ready to go upstairs, the kids take their baskets with them and put things away where they belong. In the morning when they come down, they bring their baskets with them and place them on the stairs to collect their things throught the day again.

  • Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior.
