Although our beehive is empty and has been taken apart because small hive beetles destroyed it, they're still coming around to visit our garden. Oh, how I miss seeing these beuatiful little creatures around the yard. I really wish we would've been able to save them. It breaks my heart to think that we didn't give them the right environment to keep the hive strong. I'm looking forward to next spring when we will get a second hive and more honeybees. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy them as long as they're around. Maybe they miss us as much as we miss them. :)
