Finally, after almost a week of rain, the sun finally came out and dried up the ground where we keep the chickens. It has been so muddy and stinky back there, so we haven't been out to visit them in a while. It was so nice to be able to go in the back yard and let the kids run around and get some much needed sunshine. We've had our precious little grand baby for a week and we are enjoying him so much. He loves being outdoors, so as soon as it was warm enough, we took him outside to visit the chickens. I love seeing my husband holding the baby. It just melts my heart. He's such a natural. I was actually inside cleaning the kitchen and came outside to check on the kids when I saw him filling up the water feeder while holding the baby. My heart immediately filled with love for him even more. He adores that little boy. we are so blessed!
