Outside my window...It is a beautiful evening tonight. The sky is clear and it's unseasonably cool. I can't believe this is the beginning of August because the temperatures have been so cool.
I am thankful...for having had the chance to meet this precious little girl and her amazing family. They opened up their home to us, made us the most delicious meals and gave us a place to stay on our way to Wisconsin last week.
In the kitchen...I went to Costco this afternoon and stocked up for the month. I still need to go to Wegman's and get a few small items and make a meal plan for the next two weeks. I'm really trying to be gluten-free because of my hypothyroid condition, but I find it's very difficult to stay away from bread and pasta.
I am wearing...my favorite pair of blue jeans and a crimson colored long sleeve shirt.
I am reading...a lot of photography tutorials online. I've become obsessed with photography and I learn something new every day. I do have the most gorgeopus little subjects to shoot. :)
I am hoping...to start working on lesson plans for the kids now that we're back from vacation and things are finally starting to settle down.
Around the house...lots and lots of baby toys. Our oldest daughter and her two babies are visiting us for a little while. Our house is full and so are our hearts.
One of my favorite things...having all 7 of our children and 2 grandbabies under the same roof. Marygrace will be going back to college in 2 weeks and we don't know how long Adrianna and the babies will be here. I'm treasuring every minute I have with them.
A few plans for the rest of the week...catching up on rosary orders and taking the kids to the Regal $1.00 movies.
I am praying...for my beautiful friend, Sarah, who tragically passed away last Monday evening due to a brain aneurism and for her family and friends who miss her terribly.
A peek into my day...
Here is my husband little Maria looking for bugs in our back yard. (Can you tell we live up on a hill?) They spend most of their time outside together in the evenings. It gives me so much joy to see my baby and her Daddy be so close.
From the kitchen- Today is Natinal Cheese Lovers Day, so we'll be having a feast tonight. I love cheese!!!
Some things we're learning about- We're still learning about the Revolutionary War. Our 4 year old is fascinated with the book Goerge Washington's Teeth
Living the Liturgical Year- Tomorrow is the feast of St. Agnes. I'm hoping to find our Lamb cake mold today. Otherwise, I might have to run to the craft store to buy a new one.
Around the house- Lots of decclutering going on. I have 10 bags of clothes and linens in my closet ready to be dropped off at Good Will.
I am creating- A lovely Our Lady of Knock rosary for the website. I'm not quite sure how it'll turn out, but I'm trying to keep it autenthic with her aparition. It might be a little more colorful than I had planned. We'll see.
A few plans for the rest of the week- We're hoping the weather on Monday will be warm and dry enough for the March For Life. Our 26 week pregnant daughter will be coming with us again this year.
One of my favorite things- cooking with my husband and children.
A picture thought I am sharing- I wasn't kidding when I said I love cheese. :)
