Looking outside my window- it's a very calm day, but extremely cold. This VA weather is crazy. A few days ago it was 60 degrees and today it's in the 30s.
I am hearing- my sweet little girl cutting some roma tomatoes and garlic for a big bowl of Brushetta.
I am wearing- a very thick red sweater, a long brown skirt and brown leather boots. I bought my whole outfit from Good Will.
I am thinking about- my Dad. It was 10 years ago yesterday that he passed away and not a day goes by that I don't think about him.
I am praying for- my children, peace in our family and and some very dear friends who are suffering so much from the loss of their children.
I am thankful for- the gift of my husband, our children and the rest of our family, especially our unborn grand baby. :)
I am reading- The Imitation of Christ to the kids every morning for our spiritual reading.
From the kitchen- Today is Natinal Cheese Lovers Day, so we'll be having a feast tonight. I love cheese!!!
Some things we're learning about- We're still learning about the Revolutionary War. Our 4 year old is fascinated with the book Goerge Washington's Teeth
Living the Liturgical Year- Tomorrow is the feast of St. Agnes. I'm hoping to find our Lamb cake mold today. Otherwise, I might have to run to the craft store to buy a new one.
Around the house- Lots of decclutering going on. I have 10 bags of clothes and linens in my closet ready to be dropped off at Good Will.
I am creating- A lovely Our Lady of Knock rosary for the website. I'm not quite sure how it'll turn out, but I'm trying to keep it autenthic with her aparition. It might be a little more colorful than I had planned. We'll see.
A few plans for the rest of the week- We're hoping the weather on Monday will be warm and dry enough for the March For Life. Our 26 week pregnant daughter will be coming with us again this year.
One of my favorite things- cooking with my husband and children.
A picture thought I am sharing- I wasn't kidding when I said I love cheese. :)
