Small Successed, vol 38

Here are my small successes for the past week.

1. Yesterday I bought the first Christmas present for this year. My goal is to inish before Advent begins, so I'm startng early this year. 

2.  I fasted from the internet on Sunday, thanks to this post by Colleen Hammond. It was a wonderful day away from all the chaos from the internet.

3. I finally cleaned the master bathroom. I tend to forget about it because as the saying goes, "Out of sight, out of mind."

Small Successes, vol. 37

Here are my small successes for the past week. I took pictures so I wouldn't forget them. I always have a hard time remembering the previous week, so the pictures are definately helping.

1. I finally cleaned out the refrigerator last weekend. It all started with me cleaning a stain on the bottom shelf and I couldn't stop there. It's amazing how much brighter the refrigerator is when it's clean.

2.  I baked bread twice this week. This loaf was gone right away. I added a little more salt than the recipe called for and my husband said it was the best bread I have made.

3. We planted 50 tulips in the trinity garden on Sunday. We usually plant daffodils, but this year I decided to try something new. I still need to get a few more bulbs for the front of the house.
